Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic lift trucks offer versatility and height. These units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual using it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Regular forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specifically to raise staff. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
