End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These equipment have superior performance features that are quite like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation environments which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent option for applications that need regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by a variety of companies that maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a way which is both safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also include a hydraulic system which enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just offers more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
