Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined areas during industrial and construction applications. They are also known for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables provide operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 model has a telescoping jib, known as the Jib-Extend, which goes from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were previously unreachable by typical jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This particular feature enables over and up reaching jobs to be completed with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System made by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform has to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully raised at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing production and efficiency.
